Paulus
A rebell since birth who won't give up on justice in any case.
(! His Magic for Misfits version is not to be mixed up with his Fallen version !)
Story
Since childhood he thrived to become a rebell and was quite loud about it. No one was ever able to change his mind, even after he was shooshed out of his home and lost all to the ones he despises. Under Mathew's care he and Maria became even stronger and soon they would break through to travel the lands in order to bring justice and gather those of his kind.
(This is the rough version, I will extend on it another time)
Appearance
He is a human with bat features. In comparison to his teammates he is also relatively small. His hair is long, wavy and a dark red/orange. His ears are big and long, even longer than a normal bat one's such as his grandmother. He is trying to grow a beard, though it remains small and fuzzy. Under any circumstances he wears his black cloak around his neck with The Mother's medallion. He wears bandages around his arms and hands except the finger tips, as he is straining his magic outlet. The rest of his attire is sporty and allows much movements.
Power
His specialisation lays within stealth magic, thereby he is classified as a support mage. He can silence his and others' movements while also removing their presence to even the most sensitive nose. As stealth is a looked down upon magic kind not many practice it out, making Paul not only one of the rarer mage breeds, but also one of the strongest in his sector. His cloak enhances his powers further
Due to a disability in his hand he is limited in his hand movements and therefore in how he practices out his magic, since magic can be utilized the most effective with the hands and fingers.
Relationship
Maria V
Their siblinghood is indescrible to anyone meeting upon them, even if they are not related by blood. Their dynamic is strong and healthy, while also being very flexible. Maria will always have his back and Paul hers. As he hides their presence in fights she deals the unexpected blow of damage onto the enemies. But even outside of constructs of any kind they meet one another on eye level, always helping each other.
At the very start they met on odd terms. On Maria's first day of school she and Paulus were both being picked on by Leon and attended the same classes together. They both came from very different housholds with very different perpectives on the world, though they both had the same goal: Show the monarchy system the middle finger. Maria was taken in by Paul's family as she was considered an orphan and her identity was not yet exposed. From there on they would accompany eachother through every adventure.
Maria's death left Paulus wounded for life. But even wounds heal to a certain degree, in this case by acknowledging Shelby's existence. Found family always prevails.
Leon
His enemy? His friend? His enemy again? But then lover? Their story is a wild one and takes many curves. Leon started off as one who looked down upon Paulus for his status and Paul despised him for his royal status. Once Paulus became stronger though their rivaly weakened. Not because they got closer, quite the opposite actually, but because Paul came to the understanding that he wont come far being mad at Leon. Leon on the other hand got furious through that and confronted him. But Paulus barely reacted, only said something about self-growth, and it may have awaken a spark within Leon.
After Paul's departure Leon was left in his parents' hands again and being punished for his misbehaviour developed from the encounter with Paulus and the other misfits. He lead Paul on and made him believe that he had ill intentions with him even though he was still helping him from behind the scenes while also looking like the ideal heir of the throne to his parents. Once Paulus grasped the reality of things he tried to return Leon, but it only left him empty handed. Soon they met outside of the Löwenherz kingdom as Leon has finally made the decission to run away.

Amber
Amber's family took in Paul and his father when they were searching for a home after Paul's birth. They pretty much grew up like siblings and managed to stay friends once they reconnected with one another again.
Shelby
Their start was rough as her existence cost the two most beloved people of Paulus. Though once Paulus came to terms with them being gone they started to develop a genuine friendship. Through her his joy returns to him. He teaches her the concepts and ideals they have among the rebellion. They now travel through the lost lands together and bring justice there were is none.
